General Overview
This update expands your options of control with Glydr. Allowing you to use Glydr in combination with a first- or third-party controller seamlessly without the use of additional software. This feature is an addition to the existing generic gamepad HID options Glydr has. Allowing you to select if you would like Glydr to act as a x360 or DS4 device. The controller translation screen also allows you to combine your physical controller and Glydr together into a single x360 or DS4 controller. This further expands Glydr’s gameplay support and lowers issues due to the use of multiple controllers. We are pushing this as a beta feature to get wider use from various devices and titles to help uncover any bugs and issues while we continue to develop it.

What it is and how it works
This beta is designed to allow you to use Glydr in tandem with a controller and have your game recognize both physical devices as a single virtual device. This feature provides emulation of both x360 and ds4 controllers to be able to match up with your physical device. Powered by the open-source ViGEmBus tool, which must be installed to use the feature, both physical devices are combined into one allowing for maximum compatibility across games titles and services. Similarly to how paddles function, mapping buttons, thumb sticks, or triggers to Glydr does not remove that functionality from your controller. Allowing for both binds to remain usable simultaneously. The controller translation feature works behind the scenes and once installed doesn’t require additional setup or profile specific adjustment. While active, simply press both Glydr and your controller to begin the translation.
How to install the controller translation feature

Download the control panel HERE or check the updates panel in your control panel.

Follow the prompts to install the latest control panel version

Launch the control panel

Click the Controller Translation icon between the cog wheel and the connection status icons.

Read the terms, accept, and install ViGEmBus

The feature is now installed, and its settings can be accessed by clicking the “Controller Translation” icon at the top of the control panel or within any gamepad profile.

Activate your favorite profile, press down both the Glydr and your controller, and get gaming.
Known issues
Issue: If Glydr disconnects while translating, upon reconnection inputs from Glydr may stick.
Temporary Solution: Unplug or turn off physical controller and replug or turn on physical controller
Issue: Physical DS4 controllers may lose touch pad tracking functionality using this feature
Issue: Physical Dualsense controllers may lose touch pad tracking and button functionality using this feature
Issue: Invert Vertical Direction is reset upon saving
Issue: Overdrive does not work as intended
